My Two Worlds
I was born in Accra, Ghana, a place filled with colour, energy, warmth and a deep sense of community.
At the age of four, I came to Switzerland with my family. Since then, I have lived between these two worlds, shaped by different landscapes, cultures and rhythms, yet deeply connected to both.
My art is my way of bringing these two places together. Every painting holds a piece of my story. The colours, the people, the traditions, the nature and the emotions that have shaped who I am.
The Stories That Inspire Me
Ghana lives in my work through its people, culture, music and the resilience of its women. It is a place where stories are told through sights, sounds and traditions.
Switzerland brings a different kind of inspiration, peace, structure and perspective. The quiet beauty of its landscapes gives me balance and depth.
Between these two worlds, I find endless stories to tell, especially about women, identity, resilience and belonging.
Painting allows me to capture not just what I see, but what I feel.
A Shared Canvas
I don't feel I have to choose between Ghana and Switzerland.
I belong to both.
And that is what makes my art so personal and meaningful.
Whether I am painting a woman, a landscape, a golfer or a scene from everyday life, it is always about connection, between places, between people, between tradition and modern life.
Art has no borders. It simply tells the story of who we are, and where we belong.
