Although she later stepped away from painting for many years, art remained part of her inner world. After moving permanently to Switzerland, she rediscovered painting and found in it a place of solace, reflection, and reconnection — a way to honour her heritage, revisit childhood memories, and express what words cannot always hold.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBefore dedicating herself fully to art, Patience worked for several years with a specialized United Nations agency in Geneva. That international experience, together with her bicultural life, continues to shape the depth, openness, and humanity of her artistic perspective.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eToday, she paints from her studio in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland, creating one-of-a-kind works that celebrate identity, femininity, movement, and human connection. Her visual language moves across continents and sensibilities — from vibrant African scenes and serene Swiss landscapes to intimate portrayals of women and the elegance of golf in motion, a subject inspired by her personal passion for the sport.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWorking primarily in \u003cstrong\u003eoil, gouache, and ink,\u003c\/strong\u003e Patience builds paintings with rich colour, expressive gesture, and layered texture.
